NoCo: Late nights pt 2

Noah's POV
"N-Noah?"

I heard faintly coming from the other side of the door. I steadily opened the lock, hearing it click.

"Cody?"

"Oh. Hey Noah!" The cute brunette stuttered. "What are you doing up so late?" I said. He started to rub the back of his head. "I was bored, couldn't sleep, and needed someone to talk too." I rolled my eyes and invited him in. "Would you like to-" Before I could finish, he spat out a 'Yes.'

"So.....Whatcha been up to?" He said as I turned on a lamp on the opposite side of the room.

"Hmm. Not much, just reading and thinking" I said as I plopped down on the couch next to him. There was a long awkward pause before he spoke slowly.

"Thinking about what?" I placed 2 fingers on my cheeks as I felt them burn up.

"Uhm. N-nothing.......Just yeah......just um how good my book was and, uhm..... Just about.......well......" I was filing through my mind to find an excuse, because I really don't want him to know what I was really thinking. He looked up at the ceiling, then a slightly sexy smile grew on his face. "Surree....... Whatever....." I pulled on the collar of my shirt, like it was hot in my room or something.

"Really Noah, what was on your mind? I'd like to know."

"I WASN'T THINKING ANYTHING, OKAY?"

His eyes grew wide, to form a worried look. "Noah calm down!! I was just poking fun. I know you're bipolar, and I respect that. Sorry." He placed his hand on my shoulder, and I gave a reassuring smile.

"You're lucky you can keep a secret, or Izzy would be all over my ass."

"Hehe or Sierra-" He said as there was a pounding at the door. I had to go get it, but I heard a loud squealing come from the other side. "O-M-G. How did she find me??" I patted his head. "Its fine, I'll deal with this. Go to my room, and hide in my closet. You'll be okay." He had me in his tight embrace for a moment, thanked me and ran through the kitchen to reach my room. "Ha ha. Cute." I whispered to myself. I opened the door dramatically, to act like I was supposedly 'asleep.' "(yawn) Ugh Sierra, what do you want? Its two In the morning!" I sighed as I pointed at my 'watch' which was actually my wrist.

"I am looking for Cody." She said innocently.

I scratched my head, pretending to be tired. "Well I don't know exactly where he is, but I could care less. So just go back to bed..." I  closed the door slowly, and then ran to my room. "Cody! The coast is clear, you can come out now!" I opened the door and smiled sweetly. "The stalker is gone for now, you can (I hold up my fingers to make quotation marks.) Come out of the closet ha ha."

"HEY I'M NOT G-GAY!!

"Then why did you stutter??"

I watched the pale skin turn to brick red.

"Uhh....."
